Due to our roots as a sports ball factory, you are guaranteed to find the right football at Cawila, we have been manufacturing sports balls since 1956 in the third generation and we certainly know what is important in a football. 

Of course, the beginnings of football are not as we know them today. Up until the 1970s, soccer balls were made of stitched strips of leather. It was not until the 1970 soccer World Cup in Mexico that balls were made from pentagons and hexagons. Even today, footballs are made by hand. PVC is glued to cotton and polyester fabric on the back of the leather. Then the pentagonal or hexagonal honeycombs are punched out and sewn. Finally, the seams are treated with wax to make the ball waterproof. After a final quality control, the end products are exported and sold all over the world.
